If something is wrong with your top up meter or card, an error code will appear on the meter display.
Meter Error Codes (Libra 100/110 Meters with White PAYG Card)
Error CodeMeaningSolution
01Card not validInsert card with gold chip facing down to clear the error. If problem continues, contact your gas supplier
02Supplier code incorrectYou may be using another supplier's card. Purchase a gas card (£4.00) from any shop with a PayPoint symbol. Locate stores at www.paypoint.com/locator
03Credit expiredCredit only lasts 6 months on the card. If topped up less than 6 months ago, contact your gas supplier
04Meter credit fullYour meter cannot accept more than 1800M³ of credit
05Communication failed with meterContact your gas supplier for assistance
06Communication failed with cardClean the chip with a soft cloth or eraser, then insert with gold chip facing upwards. If problem persists, contact your gas supplier
07Low batteryContact your gas supplier for assistance
08Operation not possibleHave you topped up more than £20.00 while picking up your 'change of supply' message? If yes, contact your gas supplier. For existing customers: When transferring credit, simply insert card - credit will transfer automatically
09System faultContact your gas supplier for assistance
