If something is wrong with your top up meter or card, an error code will appear on the meter display.
Meter Error Codes (Libra 100/110 Meters with White PAYG Card)
| Error Code | Meaning | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Card not valid | Insert card with gold chip facing down to clear the error. If problem continues, contact your gas supplier |
| 02 | Supplier code incorrect | You may be using another supplier's card. Purchase a gas card (£4.00) from any shop with a PayPoint symbol. Locate stores at www.paypoint.com/locator |
| 03 | Credit expired | Credit only lasts 6 months on the card. If topped up less than 6 months ago, contact your gas supplier |
| 04 | Meter credit full | Your meter cannot accept more than 1800M³ of credit |
| 05 | Communication failed with meter | Contact your gas supplier for assistance |
| 06 | Communication failed with card | Clean the chip with a soft cloth or eraser, then insert with gold chip facing upwards. If problem persists, contact your gas supplier |
| 07 | Low battery | Contact your gas supplier for assistance |
| 08 | Operation not possible | Have you topped up more than £20.00 while picking up your 'change of supply' message? If yes, contact your gas supplier. For existing customers: When transferring credit, simply insert card - credit will transfer automatically |
| 09 | System fault | Contact your gas supplier for assistance |
