The Connection Process

Here's your step by step guide on what happens next:

1. Home Visit Arrangement

  • Your local energy advisor will contact you within 3 working days to schedule a convenient home visit.
  • You’ll receive this call from a mobile number between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

2. Free Consultation

During this free consultation, your energy advisor will:

  • Complete a complimentary energy efficiency assessment of your home.
  • Provide a detailed explanation of the connection process.
  • Survey your property to determine the best meter location.
  • Answer any questions you have about your connection.

3. Choose Your Installer

You’ll need to select a Gas Safe registered installer for your internal work:

  • We recommend obtaining at least three quotes.
  • The installer will handle all internal work from your meter to your heating system.

  • In most cases, you won’t need to be home during the installation. (We’ll notify you in advance if your presence is required)

Important: Share this installation date with your chosen installer.
