A row of modern suburban houses with brick exteriors and tiled roofs, situated along a quiet street with a drive and pavement in front.

Our contractors will lay the connection pipe from the main at the road to the meter which will involve some excavation along the service line.[2]

The best position for your meter is at the front of your property.

Your meter can be placed on the gable wall, up to 2m back from the front of your property, but it must be clearly visible and accessible from the road. [1]

Your meter cannot be sited at the rear of your property.

[1]There must be at least 1m clearance between the meter and any other building or structure. [2]They will then leave the area as they found it, within 5 working days.

Kinecx Energy bring natural gas to your home and fit the meter to your property. We don’t convert your central heating or fit appliances such as cookers, for that you’ll need to contact a Gas Safe Registered Installer.

You can find a Gas Safe Registered Installer by checking the Gas Safe Register website www.GasSafeRegister.co.uk or by giving them a call on 0800 408 5500.
